This is Theragun by Therabody.com. It is a percussion massage device that is very powerful yet quiet. Well designed and engineered, it reeks of quality. As a geezer, there are few body areas that don’t benefit from stimulation (OK, don’t go there). I use it mostly on a chronic lower back and an arthritic right knee after working out, cooking or doing yard work. The relief is positive and unmistakable–pain goes away and the treated areas revert to normal ready for the next activity.
The Theragun comes with an array of tips: soft-to-hard, broad-to-narrow. And four speeds. The softest pad and slowest speed works best for me. They offer a number of models. I choose the Elite, which is top of the line for home use. Over the decades, we’ve had maybe three vibrator gadgets–all trashed. The Theragun is not a vibrator. About $400 for the Elite model.
